About Elmer Elephant
"Elmer Elephant" is a short animated film released by Walt Disney Productions in 1936. The movie revolves around Elmer, a sweet-natured elephant who is invited to Tillie Tiger's birthday party. Despite his thoughtful gift of a bouquet, he is teased and ostracized by the other animals because of his long nose. However, Elmer's unique trunk then becomes the most useful tool in saving the day when Tillie’s treehouse catches fire, thus teaching a lesson about embracing individual differences.
