The Equalizer 2 is a 2018 American action thriller movie directed and produced by Antoine Fuqua. It is a sequel to the 2014 film The Equalizer, which was based on the TV series of the same name. The film follows the story of Robert McCall, played by Denzel Washington, a retired black ops government operative who lives a quiet life in Massachusetts. When his long-time friend Susan Plummer, played by Melissa Leo, is murdered, McCall decides to return to his old ways and seek justice.
