About Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore

The Secrets of Dumbledore is the third installment in the Fantastic Beasts movie series, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Full plot details are kept under wraps. However, it is known that the story continues the adventures of magizoologist Newt Scamander with Albus Dumbledore who needs to defeat the dangerous dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald.

Making / Production

The film is directed by David Yates and written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves. The production was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and saw a major recasting with Mads Mikkelsen taking over from Johnny Depp for the role of Grindelwald.
