About Fantastic Planet

Fantastic Planet is a 1973 animated science fiction film directed by René Laloux. The movie is based on the novel "Oms en série" by French writer Stefan Wul. It is set on a distant planet named Ygam, where blue humanoid giants called Draags oppress the humans, called Oms. The Draags consider Oms as pests or pets. The plot revolves around an Om named Terr who manages to escape from his Draag master and sparks a revolution against the oppressive regime.
