About Farming
'Farming' is a 2018 British film written and directed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje. The movie presents an autobiographical account of the director's own experience as a child farmed out by his parents to a white British family in London in the 1960s. 'Farming' explores Adewale's struggle with his identity, the trauma of racism, and the allure of gang life. The film graphically portrays his journey from a fearful outsider to becoming a feared leader of skinhead gang, then ultimately his redemption and healing.
