Making / Production
Flavors of Youth: International Version is a co-production between Japan and China, aiming to showcase the beauty of Chinese culture and intertwine it with relatable themes. The animation was primarily handled by CoMix Wave Films, known for their work on Makoto Shinkai's films, while Haoliners Animation League contributed to the production.
The directors Li Haoling, Jiaoshou Yi Xiaoxing, and Yoshitaka Takeuch collaborated closely to ensure the consistency and coherence of the storytelling across the three different parts of the show.
