About Force of Nature

'Force of Nature' is a 2020 American action-thriller film directed by Michael Polish. The movie follows a group of people in a residential building who must navigate a hostile environment during a major hurricane, all while a gang of thieves attempt to pull off a heist.

Plot

The movie opens with a group of thieves posing as Boston Police Department officers, led by a man named John the Baptist. In the midst of a category 5 hurricane, Dr. Troy and Cardillo, actual police officers, do their round evacuating buildings. They run into Ray, a stubborn retired detective refusing to leave his apartment due to a mysterious white tiger that his deceased wife has kept as a pet. As the storm worsens, John and his crew attempt a heist in the building, leading to an intense struggle for survival.

'Force of Nature' was directed by Michael Polish and written by Cory Miller, with the production being handled by Emmett/Furla Films. Despite the rough weather conditions depicted in the film, the majority of the production was filmed in interior sets.
