Freaky Friday is a musical television film that aired on the Disney Channel in 2018. It is based on the book by Mary Rodgers and the Disney theatrical productions of the same name. The plot revolves around a mother and daughter who, through a magical hourglass, end up swapping bodies. They must figure out how to return to their bodies, while also dealing with the various challenges and hilarities that ensue in the meantime.

Actors

• Heidi Blickenstaff as Katherine Blake, the loving but stressed-out mother. Blickenstaff masterfully portrayed the challenges of motherhood and teenage life.
• Cozi Zuehlsdorff as Ellie Blake, the misunderstood teenager. Zuehlsdorff brilliantly brought out the confusion and hilarity of suddenly ending up in her mother's body.
• Ricky He as Adam, Ellie's best friend who has an unspoken crush on her. He added depth to the character and portrayed innocent, unrequited love with perfection.
