"Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" is a popular anime series, released in 2009, that portrays the story of two brothers - Edward and Alphonse Elric. After a failed attempt to use alchemy to revive their deceased mother, Edward lost his arm and leg, and Alphonse his entire body. Alphonse's soul is attached to a suit of armor by Edward, who later becomes a State Alchemist to find a way to recover their bodies. The series is known for its perfect blend of complex characters and brilliant storytelling, alongside powerful themes of sacrifice, science, family, and corruption.

Making / Production

Produced by the famed Studio Bones, "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood" was directed by Yasuhiro Irie. The series is based on the original manga series written by Hiromu Arakawa. The show is essentially the faithful adaptation of the manga and was released from April 2009 to July 2010.

Actors

• Romi Park: Provided the voice for Edward Elric. She carried the enthusiasm, anger and hope of Edward remarkably.
• Rie Kugimiya: Voiced Alphonse Elric, perfectly capturing the gentle and innocent nature of Alphonse.
