About Get Hard

Released in 2015, "Get Hard" is an American comedy film directed by Etan Cohen. The story revolves around James King, a wealthy businessman charged with high-level financial crime, who hires Darnell Lewis, who he wrongfully assumes has been in prison, to prepare him for life behind bars. Comedy ensues as James tries to harden himself to survive in prison under Darnell's eccentric guidance.

The movie, written by Jay Martel, Ian Roberts, and Etan Cohen, was produced by Warner Bros. Pictures in association with Gary Sanchez Productions and RatPac-Dune Entertainment. The budget of the film was about $40 million and it grossed over $111 million worldwide. Cohen, known for his works on "Tropic Thunder" and "Men in Black 3", made his directorial debut with "Get Hard".

Actors

• Will Ferrell as James King: Will brings his classic slapstick comedy style to the character of James, a clueless businessman desperate to avoid a prison sentence.
