About

Glitter Force is a Japanese magical girl anime series that was released in 2015. The show follows a group of five girls, known as the Glitter Force, who are chosen to protect Earth from the evil forces of the Shadow King. Each girl possesses a special power and is able to transform into a glittering superheroine to fight against villains and save the day.

The plot revolves around the girls' adventures as they battle various enemies and work together to protect their town and the world from evil. Along the way, they also learn valuable lessons about friendship, teamwork, and the power of love and hope.

Making / Production

Glitter Force is based on the anime series Smile PreCure! created by Toei Animation. The original series aired in Japan from 2012 to 2013. The English adaptation, Glitter Force, was produced by Saban Brands and premiered on Netflix in 2015.

The show was localized for the Western audience, with changes made to the character names, dialogue, and music. The transformation sequences and action scenes were also reanimated to better suit the new audience. Despite these changes, Glitter Force retained the core themes and storylines from Smile PreCure!
