About Godzilla: King of the Monsters

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is an epic monster film directed by Michael Dougherty. Released in 2019, it is the sequel to 2014's Godzilla and is the 35th film in the Godzilla franchise. The movie follows the rise of ancient super species, as they are being awakened by the scientific organization, Monarch. These creatures include Godzilla himself, King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan, vying for supremacy and threatening human existence. The plot builds up to an ultimate battle between Godzilla and his three-headed nemesis, King Ghidorah.

Making / Production

Produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is part of what is called the MonsterVerse, which combines various famous movie monsters into one cinematic universe. The film was shot across multiple locations, including Atlanta and Mexico City. Director Michael Dougherty and his team used various visual effects and CGI techniques to bring the mighty creatures to life.

Actors
