About The Golden Palace
The Golden Palace is an American sitcom that originally aired on CBS from September 18, 1992, to May 14, 1993. It's a continuation of the popular show 'The Golden Girls', without Bea Arthur's character, Dorothy Zbornak. It centers on Rose, Blanche and Sophia, who decide to invest in a Miami hotel and struggle with its everyday problems and operational challenges.
Making / Production
The show was created by Susan Harris and produced by Witt/Thomas/Harris Productions, in association with Touchstone Television. It was shot at Ren-Mar Studios, in Hollywood, California. Despite its strong initial ratings, it couldn’t match the success of 'The Golden Girls' and unfortunately, it was cancelled after one season.

- Betty White as Rose Nylund: Betty played the character of Rose, a benevolent and sometimes naive woman, who often tells peculiar stories about her hometown, St. Olaf.
