About Gossip Girl
Gossip Girl (released in 2021) is an American teen drama television series that serves as a sequel to the original 2007-2012 Gossip Girl show. Developed by Joshua Safran, a writer and executive producer of the original series, the new Gossip Girl is not a reboot, but an extension of the original show that takes place years later. It explores how much social media and the landscape of New York itself has changed in the intervening years.
Making / Production
The show is primarily filmed in New York and carries the same glamour and depiction of upper-class life as the original series. Joshua Safran returned to helm the reboot, with other key production members including executive producer Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.

- Emily Alyn Lind as Audrey Hope. A teen from an upper-class family dealing with relationship problems, Lind's portrayal is emotionally resonant.
- Jordan Alexander as Julien Calloway. Alexander plays a teen influencer navigating high-school life and secrets.
