Grand Hotel

Grand Hotel is an American mystery drama television series developed by Brian Tanen based on the Spanish series Gran Hotel, created by Ramón Campos and Gema R. María. The show first premiered on ABC on June 17, 2019.

The story centers around the Riviera Grand Hotel in Miami Beach, the last family-owned hotel in the area, where scandals, escalating debt and explosive secrets hide beneath a picture-perfect exterior. The drama unfolds as the members of the Mendoza family and the hotel’s staff confront various mysteries while managing the hotel.

The show is known for its intriguing plot twists and a deep dive into the lives and secrets of a seemingly perfect affluent family.

Creator Brian Tanen adapted this American version from the original Spanish series, bringing the drama and mystery of Gran Hotel to the American audience. Produced under the ABC Studios, the series was filmed on location around the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel to capture the authentic glitz and glamour of the Miami-lifestyle.
