Gravity Falls is an American animated mystery comedy television series that premiered on Disney Channel on June 15, 2012. It was created by Alex Hirsch. The series follows the summer adventures of twins Dipper and Mabel Pines who are sent to live with their Great Uncle Stan in the eerie town of Gravity Falls, Oregon. They soon discover that there's more than meets the eye in this town and they start unveiling secrets and unveiling mysteries with the help of a mysterious journal they had found.

Making / Production

The series was created by Alex Hirsch, a former writer for Cartoon Network's ‘The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack’, and ‘Fish Hooks’. The production team used physical comedy and visual gags along with witty writing to keep the show appealing to both children and adults. The series was praised for the complexity of its narrative, character development and the originality of its setting.

Actors
