The Guardians of the Galaxy (Shorts) are a series of short films based on the Marvel guardians of the Galaxy. The shorts serve as a prequel to the Guardians of the Galaxy animated TV series. The shorts consist of 10 episodes of approximately 2 minutes each. The series was released from February 28, 2015 - March 7, 2016.

Making / Production

The shorts were produced by Marvel and animated by Marvel Animation. Each episode aimed to give insight into the background of one of the main characters from the animated series. It focuses on the events that led the characters to become the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Actors

  • Will Friedle voiced the character Peter Quill/Star-Lord. He adds a touch of humor to the character and perfectly presents him as the reluctant leader of the team.
  • Trevor Devall voiced Rocket Raccoon. He brings the cranky, weapon-loving character to life with great energy.
