"Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" is the sequel to the 2014 blockbuster "Guardians of the Galaxy". This hugely successful Marvel movie is directed by James Gunn and follows the journey of the Guardians as they unravel the mystery of Star-Lord’s true parentage. The movie again combines elements of science fiction, adventure, and comedy in the unique style that originally won over audiences.

Making / Production

James Gunn returned as the director, and the film was produced by Kevin Feige. Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures handled the production and distribution of the film. Much of the original cast also returned, with additions to the team in the form of new characters like Mantis (played by Pom Klementieff).
