About The Haunting in Connecticut
The Haunting in Connecticut is an American psychological horror film released in 2009. Set in Connecticut, the plot focuses on the Campbell family moving to an old Victorian house that was previously used as a mortuary to treat the cancer-stricken Matt.
Soon startling and unexplainable events begin to happen, and the Campbell family is subjected to a menacingly sinister presence dwelling within the house. As the supernatural undertones deepen, they soon realise they are living in a haunted house.

Directed by Peter Cornwell, The Haunting in Connecticut is based on the real experiences of the Snedeker family in the 1980s. The script was written by Adam Simon and Tim Metcalfe. The dramatized version of these events serves as a spine-chilling metaphor of the fear of death and illness.
