About Hitman: Agent 47 (HBO)

Hitman: Agent 47 (HBO) is a rib-tickling, action-packed thriller based on the popular video game series by Square Enix. The movie, released in 2015, centers around the titular character, Agent 47, a genetically manipulated assassin. The plot thickens as he teams up with a woman to help her find her father and unravel her mysterious ancestry, thereby helping her to deal with her newfound powers and the corporation that wants to exploit it.

The film was directed by Aleksander Bach in his directorial debut with a screenplay written by Michael Finch and Kyle Ward based on a story by Skip Woods. It was produced by Adrian Askarieh, Charles Gordon, and Skip Woods.
