About Home in the Wild

A unique synthesis of raw survival instincts and human emotions, "Home in the Wild" presents a carefully crafted narrative released in 2023. The series explores the life of its protagonist, Max Turner, a city dweller turned hermit, who embarks on a journey far from the bustling city life, into the untouched wilderness. From striking the first flint to creating a sustainable living in the woods, the drama, excitement, adventure, and emotion make the viewers hold their breath from the first episode till the last.

Making / Production

Produced by Roaring Lion Productions, this series took two years to shoot, with special permissions needed to film in some of the world’s most remote and untouched locations. The production team faced numerous challenges including extreme weather conditions, but their dedication can be seen clearly in the artistic cinematography and tight plotlines in the series.

• James McAvoy as Max Turner - His brilliant portrayal of Max Turner is convincing and compelling. He effortlessly oscillates between vulnerability and survival instincts.
