Hustlers is a 2019 crime drama film based on New York magazine's 2015 article "The Hustlers at Scores" by Jessica Pressler. The movie centers around a group of strippers in New York City, led by an ambitious single mother, as they lie, steal, and hustle dozens of wealthy men during the late-2000s financial crisis. When the sex industry bottomed out during the Recession, the workers at the club where the women strip concoct a scheme to drug their Wall Street clients and take their money.
