About The Immortal

Italian crime thriller film "The Immortal" (also known as "L'Immortale") was released in 2019. Set between the events of the TV series Gomorrah, the film follows the story of Ciro Di Marzio, the 'immortal' survivor of the deadly earthquake in Naples in 1980. Having been orphaned in the disaster, Ciro led a life of crime that matured in the gangsterism of Naples and Bulgaria.

"The Immortal" is directed by Marco D'Amore, who also plays the lead role and co-wrote the screenplay with Leonardo Fasoli, Maddalena Ravagli and Francesco Ghiaccio. The film's producers Gianni Romoli and Riccardo Tozzi, with Dazzle Communication, Beta Cinema and Vision Distribution on board for distribution.
