Incredibles 2 is an American computer-animated superhero film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Written and directed by Brad Bird, it is the sequel to The Incredibles (2004) and features the return of the super-powered Parr family who, despite trying to live a quiet suburban life, are forced back into action. The plot centers on Helen Parr (Elastigirl), who is called to lead a campaign to bring superheroes back, while her husband, Bob (Mr. Incredible), navigates the day-to-day heroics of home life.

Making / Production

Incredibles 2 was helmed by Brad Bird, the original movie's director. Bird had long been reluctant to make a sequel, holding off until he could come up with a compelling story. Featuring larger-than-life action scenes and intricate animation details, the film took four years in production and, according to Bird, required technology that wasn't available for the original film.
