Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade is the third installment in the popular Indiana Jones franchise. Once again teaming up with George Lucas, Steven Spielberg helmed the project after the mixed reviews of the previous installment, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Filming for the Last Crusade took place in various locations worldwide, including Italy, Spain, West Germany, Jordan, the UK, and the USA.
