About Inkheart

'Inkheart' is a 2009 fantasy adventure movie directed by Iain Softley, based on Cornelia Funke's 2003 novel of the same name. The story revolves around a 'Silvertongue' named Mo (Brendan Fraser) who has the ability to bring characters from books to life whenever he reads out loud, but every time he does, something from the real world gets trapped inside the book. This becomes a problem when Mo accidentally sucks his wife Resa (Sienna Guillory) into a book called Inkheart, and his primary goal in the film is to retrieve her.
