About The Internship

The Internship is a 2013 American comedy film directed by Shawn Levy, written by Vince Vaughn and Jared Stern, and produced by Vaughn and Levy. It tells the story of two middle-aged watch salesmen who suddenly find themselves jobless in the digital world. Their attempts to find employment lead them to a coveted internship at Google, where they compete with a group of young, tech-savvy geniuses for a shot at working for the coveted internet giant.

Making / Production

The Internship was filmed at actual Google locations, including their Mountain View headquarters and Google's campus in Atlanta, Georgia. The movie was filmed in a pseudo-documentary style to create a more realistic depiction of the competitive internship process at Google. The film also incorporated some of Google’s actual hiring practices into its plot.
