About Iron Man Armored Adventures

Iron Man Armored Adventures is an animated television series based on the Marvel Comic's superhero, Iron Man. The show, which aired from 2008 to 2012, reimagines the Iron Man narrative with Tony Stark as a teenager. After his father disappears in a plane crash, he uses a high-tech suit of armor to protect those who would threaten his world and to discover the truth about his father's mysterious disappearance.

Making / Production

The show was produced by Marvel Animation and Method Animation, it is known for its unique CG style animation. It was the first Iron Man cartoon series to feature the armor in CGI in a non-comedic central role.

Actors

  • Adrian Petriw voiced teenage Tony Stark/Iron Man. He delivered an energetic and youthful voice fitting Tony's character in the series.
  • Vincent Tong portrayed Gene Khan/Mandarin who is Tony's main antogonist. Vincent expertly shifts between the character's seemingly ordinary teenager voice to the terrifying inflection of Mandarin.
  • Anna Cummer played Whitney Frost, one of Tony's close friends. Anna added depth to Whitney's character with her emotional performances.
