About Iron Man (Series)

The animated TV Series "Iron Man (Series)" released in 1994 is based on the popular Marvel Comics character, Iron Man. The series aired for two seasons and followed the adventures of billionaire industrialist Tony Stark who, after being wounded by his own weapons, constructs a powered suit of armor to save his own life. Stark eventually improves his suit, adding weapons and other equipment to combat various antagonists.

The series was produced by Marvel Entertainment. It was part of a package show with "Fantastic Four" for Season 1, but standalone from Season 2 onwards. While its animation and storytelling style was heavily criticized, Season 2 was appreciated for improved animation and mature, dramatic storytelling.
