About Jumping Ship

"Jumping Ship" is a 2001 Walt Disney Television Australian-American made-for-television film. This family adventure/comedy film was directed by Michael Lange and serves as a sequel to the 1999 film "Horse Sense." The film takes a hilarious turn when Michael (played by Joseph Lawrence), a high-powered stock broker from Los Angeles, takes his younger cousin Tommy (Andrew Lawrence) and his brother Joey (Matthew Lawrence) along on an Australian vacation that turns into a dangerous, yet exciting, sailing trip through the South Seas.

The movie was produced by Charles Hirschhorn and Tracey Jeffrey. Daniel Berendsen and Matthew Weisman did a commendable job on the screenplay, enhancing the comic appeal of the storyline.
