About Jurassic World (HBO)

Jurassic World is an enthralling science fiction adventure film that was released in 2015. It is the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park series and was directed by Colin Trevorrow. The film portrays a futuristic dinosaur amusement park, Jurassic World, that after being in operation for 10 years, introduces a new, genetically-modified dinosaur named Indomitus Rex to boost diminishing visitor interest. However, things go drastically wrong when the creature outsmarts its creators and escapes, putting everyone on the island in grave danger.

Making / Production

Produced by Universal Pictures, Jurassic World was primarily filmed in Louisiana, with its theme park scenes being shot in Kauai, Hawaii. The movie utilized state-of-the-art CGI for bringing their dinosaurs to life, and their latest creation, the Indomitus Rex was partly designed using motion-capture technology on human actors.
