About Kickin' It
Kickin' It is a memorable American comedy television series, which first aired on Disney XD from June 13, 2011, to March 25, 2015. Drawn from a premise set in a San Francisco Bay area named Seaford, the series follows a crew of lovable misfits at Bobby Wasabi Martial Arts Academy. They soon learn that karate is more than just self-defense but a special bond of loyalty, friendship, and discovery of oneself.
Making/Production
Created and Executive produced by Emmy-nominated producer and veteran comedy scribe Jim O'Doherty (3rd Rock from the Sun, Grounded for Life), the series, in its 4-season run, maintained high production values. Marc Warren (Full House, Even Stevens) later joined the crew as executive producer and director, leading the series to new heights of popularity.
