"A Kid in King Arthur's Court" is a 1995 family adventure film directed by Michael Gottlieb. The film’s plot is based on Mark Twain’s “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court”. The movie tells the story of a young baseball player named Calvin Fuller who gets transported back to medieval times in King Arthur's court after an earthquake occurs. Here he learns the true meaning of courage, friendship, and perseverance.

Making / Production

The film, set in both Reseda, California and Camelot, was shot primarily in Budapest, Hungary. The castle in the film is actually Buda Castle located in Budapest. Director Michael Gottlieb faced the challenge of melding both modern and Medieval times, using special effects for the scene where Calvin Fuller is transported to the past.
