The Kill Team is an HBO movie released in 2019. Directed by Dan Krauss, it depicts a true story that occurred during the war in Afghanistan. The plot focuses on Briggman's struggles as he decides to report these incidents.

Making / Production

The Kill Team was produced by Temple Hill Entertainment and Nostromo Pictures. The movie was director Dan Krauss's first feature film, and he also wrote the script. Krauss had previously directed a documentary in 2013, also named The Kill Team, upon which the 2019 movie is based. The film was shot in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands to recreate the landscape of Afghanistan.

Actors

• Alexander Skarsgard portrays Sergeant Deeks, exhibiting an intimidating and manipulative character that leads his men into committing war crimes.
