About The Kill Team (HBO)

The Kill Team is an HBO movie released in 2019. Directed by Dan Krauss, it depicts a true story that occurred during the war in Afghanistan. The film centers on private Andrew Briggman who starts having moral objections when his platoon, under their leader Sergeant Deeks, starts killing innocent civilians. Making / Production

The Kill Team was produced by Temple Hill Entertainment and Nostromo Pictures. The movie was director Dan Krauss's first feature film, and he also wrote the script. Krauss had previously directed a documentary in 2013, also named The Kill Team, upon which the 2019 movie is based. The film was shot in Fuerteventura, Canary Islands to recreate the landscape of Afghanistan.

Actors
