About Lamp Life
Lamp Life is an 2020 American computer-animated short film produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. The film serves as a prequel to 2019's Toy Story 4, and it focuses on the life of Bo Peep from the time her lamp was redecorated until the time we see her again in Toy Story 4. Following her various adventures, we get a deeper look into what she was up to and how she became the fearless character we see in the latest installment of the Toy Story franchise.
Making/Production
Lamp Life was directed by Valerie LaPointe who worked on Toy Story 4 as a story supervisor, and produced by Marc Sondheimer. It is one of the series of short films made by Pixar that builds and extends the Toy Story world. The animation is Pixar’s usual top-notch quality.
