About Last Man Standing

"Last Man Standing" is an American television sitcom that first debuted on ABC in 2011 and later revived by Fox in 2018. It stars Tim Allen as Mike Baxter, a senior executive and director of marketing for an outdoor sporting goods store chain based in Denver, Colorado. While his world at work is predominantly male, he finds himself a minority in his own house as he lives with his wife, three daughters, and a grandson. Making / Production

The sitcom was created by Jack Burditt. After six seasons on ABC, the network decided to cancel the show due to financial and scheduling reasons. However, its dedicated fan-base led to a revival on Fox Network which took over the production, and the series continued for three more seasons. The show completed its ninth and final season in 2021.
