About Leaving Neverland

'Leaving Neverland' is a 2019 British-American documentary directed and produced by Dan Reed. It presents the personal accounts of two men, Wade Robson and James Safechuck, who allege they were sexually abused as children by the singer Michael Jackson.

The first part of the documentary depicts the childhood experiences of Robson and Safechuck with Jackson, who befriended them at ages seven and ten, respectively, while the latter half focuses explicitly on the alleged sexual abuse they claim to have suffered.

The documentary was produced by Amos Pictures and was released by Channel 4 and HBO in early March 2019. 'Leaving Neverland' was made without the participation of the Jackson estate, which condemned the movie in advance of its premiere.
