About Legion

Legion is a sci-fi TV series created by Noah Hawley for FX. The series is based on the Marvel Comics character David Haller/Legion. David is a troubled young man who was diagnosed with schizophrenia as a child and has been institutionalized for most of his life. However, a strange encounter with a fellow patient leads him to believe that the voices he hears and the visions he sees might be real. He soon discovers that he is a mutant with immense psychic powers.

Making / Production

The TV series was developed by FX Productions and Marvel Television, with FX Productions handling the physical production. The creator, Noah Hawley, worked extensively with Marvel's TV division to ensure it had the same level of quality that the comics and the film 'X-Men' have established.
