About Letterkenny

Letterkenny is a Canadian television sitcom created by Jared Keeso, developed and primarily written by Keeso and Jacob Tierney. First released in 2016, the show is centered around the small rural community of Letterkenny in Ontario, Canada. The residents of the community belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding with each other over trivial matters that often end in hilarity.

Making / Production

The creation of Letterkenny was inspired by Keeso's own experience growing up in a small town in Ontario. Letterkenny started as a YouTube web series titled "Letterkenny Problems". The nine-episode first season was released in 2016 on the streaming service Crave in Canada and Hulu in the United States. The show, now with nine seasons, continues to entertain its audience with its unique brand of humor.
