About

Lilyhammer is a TV show in the comedy genre that aired from 2012 to 2014. It follows the story of Frank "The Fixer" Tagliano, a former New York mobster, who enters the witness protection program and chooses to relocate to Lillehammer, Norway after seeing the town during the 1994 Winter Olympics. Frank adopts a new identity as Johnny Henriksen and tries to adapt to the peaceful Norwegian lifestyle. However, his criminal past and American ways often clash with the small-town culture.

It was the first original programming commissioned by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) and was later picked up by Netflix for international distribution.
