Line of Duty is a British police procedural television series that premiered on BBC Two on 26 June 2012. The show, created by Jed Mercurio, is set in a fictional police Anti-Corruption unit called AC-12 and focuses on the investigation of supposed corrupt police officers.

The mastermind behind the successful TV series is Jed Mercurio, who not only created the show but is also its main writer. The initial series was filmed in Birmingham, England, and all the subsequent series have been shot in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
