About Lonesome Ghosts

"Lonesome Ghosts" is a 1937 Mickey Mouse short film produced by Walt Disney Productions. In the movie, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy are ghost exterminators who are hired to rid an old house of its ghostly inhabitants. However, it turns out that the ghosts are the ones who called, wanting someone to play with and they chose Mickey's team. The ghostly pranks ensue and hilarity follows with every moment of this cartoonish ghost story.

"Lonesome Ghosts" was produced by Walt Disney, directed by Burt Gillett and features animated artistry from some of the top names in Disney animation including Art Babbitt and Bill Tytla. The film was produced in Technicolor and first released on December 24, 1937.
