"Lovecraft Country" is an American horror drama television series, that premiered on HBO on 16th August, 2020. The television series is based on the 2016 novel "Lovecraft Country" by Matt Ruff. The plot revolves around Atticus Freeman who teams up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This journey entails overcoming both the racist terrors of white America and terrifying monsters that could be straight from an H.P. Lovecraft paperback.

The series was conceptualised and realised by Misha Green, who also happens to be the executive producer along with Jordan Peele and J. J. Abrams. The series blooms into life under the brilliant production design of Kalina Ivanov and her creatives, while the atmospheric cinematography gives it an edgy appeal.
