About Making Monsters

"Making Monsters" is a 2019 horror film directed by Justin Harding and Rob Brunner. The film follows the life of a social media prankster couple. Their weekend getaway with an estranged friend turns horrifying when she introduces a new toy into their circus: a revolutionary makeup/beauty product that can be taken off like a mask, having the power to alter the user's face temporarily. They get terrified as the harmless fun spirals into a horrific sequence of disturbing events.
