About

Malevolent is a horror movie released in 2018. Directed by Olaf de Fleur Johannesson and written by Ben Ketai, the film follows a brother and sister duo who run a fake paranormal investigation business, but find themselves confronted with real supernatural events during one of their assignments.

The plot centers around Angela and Jackson, played by Florence Pugh and Cilian Murphy, respectively, who scam people by pretending to exorcise ghosts from their homes. However, their plans take a dark twist when they accept an invitation to investigate a haunted estate and encounter malevolent spirits that are not just figments of imagination.
