About Man of Steel
Man of Steel, directed by Zach Snyder and released in 2013, is a thrilling reinvention of the Superman saga. Raised by his adoptive parents, Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making difficult decisions. He finds himself faced with a choice to live a normal life or become a superhero, being the beacon of hope for mankind when the world is in severe discord because of the catastrophic methods of General Zod (Michael Shannon), a villain from his home planet of Krypton.
