About Martin

Martin is a popular American sitcom that aired on Fox from August 27, 1992, to May 1, 1997. Reflecting the rise of 'Jammin' 90s urban culture, It revolves around the often comedic and volatile relationships between the eponymous character Martin Payne, portrayed by Martin Lawrence, and his friends, his romantic interest and eventual wife, Gina Waters portrayed by Tisha Campbell-Martin, and the varied cast of characters he interacts with in the city of Detroit.
