About Marvel's M.O.D.O.K.

"Marvel's M.O.D.O.K.", released in 2021, is a stop-motion animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The series highlights the life of the megalomaniacal supervillain M.O.D.O.K. who has long aspired to conquer the world. But after years of failures battling superheroes, his evil organization, A.I.M., is on the brink of bankruptcy and is being forced to sell out to tech giant GRUMBL. As M.O.D.O.K struggles to maintain control of A.I.M. while confronting his midlife crisis and family, this series explores themes of identity, purpose, and whether it's possible to save the world while grappling with everyday life.

Making / Production

The series was first announced as a part of a group of animated Marvel Television series on Hulu in February 2019 with Jordan Blum and Patton Oswalt serving as writers and co-showrunners. Production studio is Marvel Television with animation services provided by Stoopid Buddy Stoodios.

  • The title theme "M.O.D.O.K." by Daniel Rojas sets the tone for the fun, unhinged antics we can expect from our main character.
