About Mickey's Rival
"Mickey's Rival" is a classic short film released by Disney Studios on June 20, 1936. In this film, Mickey Mouse's competitive spirit is ignited when his girlfriend, Minnie, gets a new admirer, Mortimer Mouse. Mortimer is everything Mickey isn’t - tall, stylish, and suave. During a picnic, Mickey tries different ways to outperform Mortimer, but his efforts backfire, making Mortimer look even better. The film ends with Mickey and Minnie reunited after a dangerous encounter with a bull.
