"The Mighty Ducks" is an animated TV series based on the NHL team and is a spin-off from the live-action films. The series was aired during 1996-1997. The plot revolves around humanoid ducks who were brought to Earth from another dimension. These ducks use their advanced technology and ice hockey skills to combat crime and stop the evil alien Overlord from conquering the Earth.

Making / Production

"The Mighty Ducks" TV series was created by Walt Disney Television Animation and was aired on ABC and in syndication. The theme song for the series was performed by Mickey Thomas, of Jefferson Starship fame.
